Job Description

Eskenazi Health is seeking an innovative and strategic professional to join the Talent Acquisition Division of the Human Resources Department. The Talent Acquisition team participates and conducts a full life-cycle recruitment process for various positions within Eskenazi Health, i.e., Respiratory Care Practitioners, Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Pharmacists, Nurses and other healthcare positions and executes the strategic deployment of Talent Acquisition resources to fulfill varied customer talent needs across all lines of business, including; recruitment of high skilled key and critical roles, high volume recruiting, and seasonal recruiting. 

JOB SUMMARY:

 
The Talent Acquisition Associate is responsible for interacting closely with hiring managers, Talent Acquisition Consultants, and candidates to deliver an exceptional and efficient interviewing and pre/post-hiring experience.  The Talent Acquisition Associate provides day-to-day assistance to the division in coordinating and administering transactional recruitment related activities for the Human Resources Department.
 
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
 
  • Participates in the recruitment process for entry level, talent pipeline positions, Interns and Externs within Eskenazi Health, i.e., Food and Nutrition, Environmental Services, and Pharmacy Technicians, etc.
  • Serves as a liaison to the Talent Acquisition Consultant and Talent Acquisition Consultant-RN as it relates to candidate, hiring manager and departmental inquiries
  • Assists Talent Acquisition Consultant and Talent Acquisition Consultant-RN, with research, planning and preparing for strategic initiatives being implemented in their departments
  • Maintains the applicant tracking system and career portal by opening and closing jobs, updating job information, reassigning positions, assisting HR team and Business Partners with position management and allocation; maintains the process of creating new position numbers in SAP and cost center creation, job description updates and Hiring Manager access in Position Manager
  • Conducts daily screening assessments, routing and external sourcing activities of all talent pipeline positions; assists with candidate sourcing for key roles and recruiting entry level talent; coordinates our social media strategy in conjunction with Public Affairs; manages posting positions to external resources such as job boards, social networking sites, etc.
  • Participates in departmental project work focused on delivering efficiencies and innovations to drive the Talent Acquisition operation function forward
  • Serves as a secondary line of support for the HR Shared Services line, assisting with internal/external general inquiries across all Human Resources specialties
  • Troubleshoots and resolves all applicant and system issues related to the HR ATS and HRIS
  • Responsible for coordinating the offer of employment and the scheduling of employment physicals with the Occupational Health Clinic
  • Responsible for maintaining contract workforce, including but not limited to: working with vendor agency, securing proper badging and access levels and document tracking
  • Maintains listing of current licenses/certifications as required by regulatory bodies; validates license and/or degree of new employees, and maintains monthly compliance as necessary
  • Completes background checks, i.e., criminal history, OIG, GSA and references as appropriate, including volunteers; generates internal reports and assists with recruiting metrics
  • Registers, prepares and coordinates the Talent Acquisition team for career events; attends career and networking events in conjunction with team members as necessary
  • Plans and coordinates all process documentation related to Talent Acquisition processes and standard operating procedures, including but not limited to documenting process changes such as process maps, team structure charts, detailed procedures, etc.
  • Maintains working knowledge of state and federal legislation/regulations including labor laws, etc. 

REQUIREMENTS:

Successful applicants will have accredited college training in human resources social, science, humanities, business or related, or certification in Human Resources Management from an accredited college or university

The qualified candidate will have:

  • Experience in internet recruitment, including sourcing products and applicant tracking systems
  • Experience in sourcing for passive candidates using nontraditional tools
  • Experience in healthcare recruiting
  • History of collaboration in making hiring decision
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
