JOB SUMMARY:   The Patient Representative II-Document Imaging position is responsible for the following essential job functions:     • Monitors system problems, and makes appropriate calls to Help Desk   • Sorts and distributes account documentation and system reports to appropriate departmental associates   • Opens and routes incoming mail according to departmental procedures   • Prepares, scans, indexes, and quality checks all patient account documentation   • Adheres to customer oriented turn-around timeframes   • Maintains productive, harmonious working relationships with internal and external contacts   • Resolves inquiries from internal and external customers   REQUIREMENTS:

Minimum of three (3) years in a patient accounting environment and valid High school diploma;  OR a Accredited Associate's degree in business-related field 

  • At least one year of recent work experience in a business office setting, preferably in the healthcare field   • Minimum of three years of experience in systems operations preferred
