Eskenazi Health serves as the public hospital division of the Health & Hospital Corporation of Marion County. Physicians provide a comprehensive range of primary and specialty care services at the 315-bed hospital and outpatient facilities both on and off of the Eskenazi Health downtown campus as well as at 10 Eskenazi Health Center sites located throughout Indianapolis.



JOB SUMMARY:   The Ultrasound Technician specializes in diagnostic medical sonography, schedules patients and performs ultrasound examinations of designated body regions, and interprets and prepares records of scan results.   

REQUIREMENTS:   Graduation from an AMA approved Radiologic Technology Program. Minimum of one (1) year previous working experience in radiologic technology with an emphasis on ultrasound. ABS degree with Ultrasound major; preferred 

  •  ARRT registered which includes compliance with Professional CEU requirements 
  •  Certified by the Indiana State Department of Health (Diagnostic X-RAY Machine Operator) 
  •  Must obtain certification as a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) within the first two (2) offerings of the examination 
  •  Current BLS certification
