Eskenazi Health serves as the public hospital division of the Health & Hospital Corporation of Marion County. Physicians provide a comprehensive range of primary and specialty care services at the 315-bed hospital and outpatient facilities both on and off of the Eskenazi Health downtown campus as well as at 10 Eskenazi Health Center sites located throughout Indianapolis.



JOB SUMMARY: 

We have an exciting, career opportunity available within the Human Resources Department, Talent Acquisition Team, for a Talent Acquisition Consultant-RN. We are seeking an innovative and strategic business partner to join our team. The Talent Acquisition team participates and conducts a full life-cycle recruitment process for RN and LPN positions and executes the strategic deployment of talent acquisition resources to fulfill varied customer talent needs across all lines of business, including; recruitment of high skilled key and critical roles, high volume recruiting, and seasonal recruiting. 

Eskenazi Health is seeking a full-time RN to work as a Talent Acquisition Consultant on its TA team!  The successful candidate will be responsible for the following essential job functions:

  • Recruiting and hiring for various positions within the organization, including RNs, Care Techs, Physical Therapists,  etc.
  • Planning, implementing and coordinating recruitment activities
  • Attending job fairs at colleges, universities, conferences, meetings, etc.
  • Communicating/corresponding with prospective applicants to discuss employment opportunities
  • Conducting HR interviews to determine most qualified candidates to refer for consideration by department leaders
  • Communicating with directors and managers regarding staffing needs and job applicants
  • Serves on hospital councils; focused on recruitment and retention of nursing staff
  • Reviewing resumes/applications for qualifications
  • Referring qualified applicants for interviews; consulting with department and advising in regard to selections; utilizing Success Factors (Applicant Tracking System) to refer and track progress of departmental review of applications
  • Completing required background and reference checks
  • Validating licenses, certifications and/or degrees of new hires as appropriate
  • Communicating with employees regarding transfer possibilities and counseling appropriately concerning career development
  • Coordinating employment offers, scheduling pre-employment health screenings/on-boarding paperwork



REQUIREMENTS:

Successful applicants will have an active RN license in the State of Indiana or eligibility for Indiana RN license and a minimum of two years of experience in human resources or a comparable business environment. Additionally, the qualified candidate will have:

  •  Expertise in internet recruitment, including sourcing products and applicant tracking systems
  •  Expertise in sourcing for passive candidates using nontraditional tools
  •  Experience in healthcare recruiting
  •  History of collaboration in making hiring decisions
