Eskenazi Health serves as the public hospital division of the Health & Hospital Corporation of Marion County. Physicians provide a comprehensive range of primary and specialty care services at the 315-bed hospital and outpatient facilities both on and off of the Eskenazi Health downtown campus as well as at 10 Eskenazi Health Center sites located throughout Indianapolis.

JOB SUMMARY:   The Staff Development Coordinator plans, develops, implements, manages, coordinates and evaluates clinical education programs to include competency based orientation, clinical inservices and continuing education programs, in collaboration with management, within designated clinical practice area(s). The Staff Development Coordinator also acts as a clinical education and practice resource/expert for identified area, collaborating with clinical colleagues to meet clinical education needs and program planning.   REQUIREMENTS:   -Bachelor's degree in nursing from an accredited college/university   -Master's degree in nursing from an accredited college/university preferred   -Minimum of four years expereince in clinical practice area   -Minimum of two years teaching/education experience preferred   -Maintenance of instructor certifications for areas of responsibility (i.e., BLS, ACLS, etc.)
