POSITION SUMMARY:
This position will play a leading role in helping diagnose, treat, prevent, and respond to end the HIV epidemic. This position works under the Ryan White Part A/MAI (Minority AIDS Initiative), and the Ending the Epidemic grant program and will be responsible for locating eligible HIV positive cases that are lost or not currently in care. The position will help high-risk individuals who do not know their HIV status learn that status, and using best practices attempt to link those individuals into the care and treatment systems. This position will work with clients to increase their knowledge about HIV disease, as well as inform them about the Indianapolis Grant Area’s continuum of care and the steps necessary to begin receiving services under this program.
